Avery is the name of my first daughter and that time coincided with my step into entrepreneurship. I have been recruiting in North America since 1999 after completing college for Human Resources and Computer Systems. I started recruiting in healthcare in 2004 directly for a hospital and in 2008 started my firm Avery. I have a strong interest in recruiting, talent planning, retention and immense respect for healthcare professionals.
I work with organizations in healthcare from digital health to hospitals. Mainly recruiting Physicians and Physician Leaders but with 20 years in healthcare I have recruited for almost every time of clinician and technical staff.
In an attempt to add value to clients in a strategic way I have been consulting around healthcare talent in broader term such as engagement and retention to workforce planning.
Central to everything I do is a focus on results that are mutually beneficial. I believe that building relationships to solve problems that take everyone into account is the best way to be successful. I host a podcast called "Physicians Who Lead" in an effort to highlight and support physician leaders.
